The Goals | Fulfill the Professional Supportive Services function for Western Missouri on behalf of the Missouri Dept. of Transportation’s External Civil Rights Division.
Our Role | To assist hundreds of certified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) firms in finding answers to their unique business sustainability and growth challenges so as to expand their capability and capacity to successfully participate on Missouri highway and transportation projects.
Forms of support include: assessment of business operations utilizing the Bellewether FLITER® Business & Leadership Rating Scale, training, business coaching, research, management consulting services, networking and seminars & outreach.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise owners are certified to do certain types of work for prime contractors. This “scope of work,” is based on the types of work the DBE owner has the capability and capacity to do, as classified by the North American Industry Classification System.
