The Goals | Create an overarching strategy and structure necessary to develop a comprehensive D&I Strategy for a dynamic group of companies, under one umbrella, focused on providing financially secure insurance protection and services to individuals and businesses, a quality working environment, emphasis on easy-to-use services, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a passion for pleasing its customers.
Our Role | To guide, support and advise the organization through a process that enabled them to create the structure most appropriate to their corporate values, organizational mission and emerging consumer tastes. Because very little existed at the onset of the engagement, Bellewether working collaboratively with the client, developed a multi- pillared approach that was put in place to act as the corporate foundation to the development of Diversity and Inclusion structures that have resulted in full-blown, comprehensive internal programming that includes: Outreach, Supplier Diversity, an expanded Diversity Internship Program, Reverse Mentoring, a Women’s Advocacy Group, Principles of Community, and an Emerging Professionals Network. Each of these elements, as well as the hiring of a Manager of Diversity and Inclusion, has helped this national organization demonstrate their commitment to Inclusive Excellence.
